President John Dramani Mahama has nominated 31 individuals for the position of District Chief Executive (DCE), pending approval from their respective District Assemblies.
According to a statement issued on March 26 by the Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, the nominations are in line with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Article 20(1) of the Local Government Act, 2016 (Act 936).

Bono East region - 1
Savannah region - 1
Greater Accra region - 29
