The Assemblies of God Campus Ministry (AGCM) at the University of Ghana, Legon, has successfully held the 17th edition of its annual Gathering Business Mind (GBM) 2025 conference on campus.

Conference,speakers
Attended by about 50 participants, the conference featured insightful presentations from distinguished speakers who emphasised the power of the internet as a game-changing tool for modern entrepreneurs.
An expert in the arts and creative industry, Mr. Richard Awuah, underscored the significance of the internet in today's business landscape noting that having a great idea alone was not enough hence execution, visibility, and networking were equally important.
“The internet is not just a tool, it is the foundation for accessibility and connection without it, many brilliant ideas may never reach the world,” he remarked.
Mr. Awuah also warned against being discouraged by slow progress, such as low patronage or few followers, stressing that good content would always find its audience over time.
He encouraged entrepreneurs to collaborate and share ideas while maintaining a strong sense of discipline and focus, rather than allowing themselves to be distracted or corrupted by the negative aspects of internet culture.
Technology Manager in the Quantity Surveying and Construction sector, Kofi Gyasi Gyebi, stressed the importance of idea development through prayer and purpose.
Sustainable business,branding
According to him, the foundation of a sustainable business must be solving a real-world problem adding that to succeed online, one must be consistent, have integrity, and maintain discipline, especially in a saturated market where many people are doing the same things.
The President of AGCM-Legon and Chief Executive Officer of Dimple Innovation Network International, Mr. Caleb Shalley, also delivered a compelling session on branding in the digital age.
As the author of "It Is in You", he highlighted how strategic branding could significantly boost sales and attract loyal clients.
“Branding is not just about a logo rather it’s the emotional and narrative experience people associate with your product or service. Your brand can evolve, and that’s okay” he said.
He introduced the concept of the 2 P’s of Branding thus Projection and Perception. Entrepreneurs, he said, must ensure their brand was presented clearly and perceived positively by their audience.
Mr. Shalley concluded by explaining how entrepreneurs could leverage the internet through strategic visibility ensuring the product or service is findable, targeted availability where products was convenient and accessible to the right audience and finally specialised inclusivity thus making products or services easily usable by different categories of people.
