Assemblies of God Eastern Region ‘A’ Ministers’ Wives Association has held its annual prayer conference in Koforidua. The programme saw an outpouring of spiritual fervor as ministers’ wives from across the region converged to pray, intercede, and seek divine guidance under the 2025 theme, “Pray Without Ceasing.”
The Eastern Region ‘A’ President of the Association, Rev. Mrs. Linda Anane, passionately highlighted the transformative power of prayer in the life of a woman. With conviction and authority, she underscored the importance of women being prayerful, emphasising that prayer is not just a duty but a lifeline that connects us to the divine. Her words resonated deeply with the attendees, stirring their spirits and renewing their commitment to prayer.
Conference
The conference was more than just a gathering—it was a spiritual revival. The ministers’ wives spent their time immersed in intense prayer sessions, Bible studies, and fellowship, leaving them spiritually rejuvenated and equipped for the challenges ahead.
The association was honoured to have invited guests who brought valuable insights and knowledge to the programme. These guests played a significant role in enriching the ministers' wives with new perspectives and understanding, further enhancing the impact of the conference.
Impact
But the impact of the conference didn’t end there. In a remarkable display of compassion and care, the association extended the programme to include Makeup Learning and Cervical Cancer Screening. This thoughtful initiative not only demonstrated the association's commitment to the holistic well-being of women but also provided a valuable opportunity for the ministers' wives to prioritise their health.
During the closing ceremony, Rev. Mrs. Linda Anane shared an inspiring message on the theme “Passing on the Torch,” drawing inspiration from 2 Timothy 2:2. She encouraged the ministers’ wives to remain steadfast in their faith, to mentor others, and to pass on the knowledge and wisdom they have gained to the next generation. Her words served as a clarion call to the attendees, urging them to remain faithful and committed to their calling.
Rev. Mrs Anane, further urged the participants to continue to pray without ceasing, knowing that prayers can change lives, communities, and nations.
Renewed purpose
As the ministers’ wives dispersed to their various stations, they carried with them a renewed sense of purpose, equipped with spiritual tools to navigate the complexities of life and ministry. The annual prayer conference was not just a meeting, it was a transformative experience that will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on their personal lives, marriages, and ministries.
Assemblies of God, Eastern Region ‘A’ Ministers’ Wives Association has once again set a high standard for spiritual gatherings, and their commitment to prayer, fellowship, and community service is truly commendable.
