Madina District has emerged as the champions in the Greater Accra East Children's Ministries Bible Quiz competition of Assemblies of God,Ghana.
With a total of 220 points, the district walked away with a golden trophy, gold medals for each participant, storybooks, and certificates of participation.
Outstanding performance
Their outstanding performance earned them the opportunity to represent the Greater Accra East Region at the national level.
Ashaiman District followed closely with 204 points, securing second place. They received a silver trophy, silver medals, storybooks, and certificates.
East Adenta District came in third with 194 points, and were awarded a bronze trophy, medals, storybooks, and certificates of participation.
Host
The event was hosted at the Living Spring Assemblies of God in the Madina District and was graced by church leaders, parents, and supporters who cheered the children on throughout the contest.
It forms part of the requirements for participation in the National Children’s Ministries Bible Quiz scheduled for later this year.
It was organised by the Regional Director of the Greater Accra East Children's Ministries, Rev. Susanna Atisu.
Nine out of thirteen districts participated in the keenly contested competition. The participating districts included Teshie, Nungua, Ashaiman East and Afienya Asutuare. The rest are Madina, East Adenta, Ningo Prampram, Ada, and Dodowa.
Rev. Atisu commended all participating districts for their commitment to biblical learning and encouraged those that could not take part to prepare for future opportunities.
