Some Ghanaians who have excelled in their various fields of national endeavour over the years will today receive national honours and presented with awards for their meritorious services, hard work, sacrifices and contribution to national development.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will personally present the National Honours at the Awards ceremony to be held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

It is going to be one of his final acts as he bows out of office, to celebrate the exceptional contributions and selfless service of individuals to the nation.

A letter notifying award winners and signed by the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare asked nominees to be seated by 11am.

The dress code for the occasion is formal or traditional attire, including Kente, Fugu, or suits.

Nominees are to attend the event with up to two family members.
