The Executive Committee of the Africa Assemblies of God Alliance (AAGA) convened in Johannesburg, South Africa, from March 17 to 20, 2025.

The meeting, held at the Kopanong Hotel, brought together top leaders from the alliance, including Rev. Jude Ngouwa, Chairman of AAGA and General Superintendent of Gabon Assemblies of God, as well as Rev. Stephen Wengam, Vice Chairman of AAGA and General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana. Other notable attendees included Rev. Beggs, Regional Director of Assemblies of God World Missions, USA.

Meeting

During the meeting, the Executive Committee held a crucial session with the General Assembly of the South Africa Assemblies of God Alliance (SAAGA). The gathering featured a two-hour prayer session led by Rev. Wengam, who also delivered a sermon on the topic "When Men Slept" (Dangers of Prayerlessness).

Prioritise missions

Rev. Ngouwa emphasised the need for member countries to prioritise missions and pursue revival in Africa. The leadership reaffirmed its commitment to achieving the MM33 agenda of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, which aims to plant one million churches by 2033.
