The Greater Accra East Regional Superintendent of Assemblies of God,Ghana Rev. Andrews Nelson Awintia, has led a delegation comprising the Regional Executive Committee to pay a courtesy call on Justice Kweku Tawiah Ackaah-Boafo, a Justice of the Supreme Court.
The visit, held in honour of Justice Ackaah-Boafo’selevation to the highest court of the land, aimed to congratulate him and to offer prayers for divine wisdom, protection, and guidance as he undertakes his national duties.
Meeting
During the meeting, Rev. Awintia briefed the Supreme Court Judge on the church’s ongoing initiatives, including the Transformation Agenda of the General Council and the Region’s SEND Agenda. He reaffirmed the Region’s commitment to key priorities such as church planting, strengthening existing congregations, acquiring lands, constructing Legacy Temples, and improving pastors’ welfare.
Appreciation
Justice Ackaah-Boafo who is also a deacon of one of the church’s local assemblies in the region expressed his deep appreciation to the Regional leadership for the thoughtful visit and their show of support.
He also extended gratitude to his Senior Pastor and the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God,Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam for their presence and encouragement during his elevation thanksgiving service.
