President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr. Bernice Makafui Brempong as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC).

Dr. Brempong is expected to lead the organisation in its mission to position Ghana as a top investment destination in Africa.

Dr. Brempong is a dynamic and results-driven professional with a distinguished track record in business development, healthcare, and strategic partnerships. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Ghana’s School of Pharmacy, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University College London, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

With a strong foundation in pharmaceuticals, Dr. Brempong has emerged as a global leader and speaker, sharing her expertise in healthcare innovation, business, and economic development on both local and international platforms. Her deep commitment to Ghana’s economic growth has been evident in her advocacy for policies that attract both local and international investments, which she believes are crucial for the country’s long-term prosperity.
